Myofascial release is a very effective manual therapy technique that provides sustained pressure into fascial tissue that exists to connect every part of the body, from the tip of your head to the bottom of your feet. MFR is a technique that works to eliminate pain and restore postural alignment of the body. Fascia is a very dense spider-web like system that covers every muscle, bone, nerve, artery, vein and internal organ of the body. Trauma, inflammation, and various injuries create restrictions that can cause imbalances in fascia that can lead to discomfort, limited mobility, and various health issues. Therefore, the state of our fascia plays a crucial role in determining our overall health and quality of life.
